Our Design Philosophy

We embrace the concept of Wabi Sabi, a Japanese term roughly translating to perfectly imperfect, as a guiding principle in our design. It is the flaws, the patinas, the unexpected that make something beautiful and original. We want your space to reflect you and not page 6 of a catalog. Design is not something static, our spaces are always evolving.

Hello

Jen Cirone has been doing interior design work for over 20 years. Helping clients turn their homes and offices into spaces they love. She worked on both coasts before settling in Minneapolis to raise a family. A unique background that includes doing set design and retail displays explains where Jen gets her creativity and out of the box thinking. Her personal style is clean, natural, and artisan. Layering neutrals with organic textures and reusing existing items to create a unique space.

Heather Eisenmenger is our design manager. She runs the business end, making sure projects go smoothly. Her background in technical sales and marketing brings years of project management and analytical skills to Cirone Design. She is creative and has a passion for design.

As a team Jen and Heather work together with a synergy that has clients asking if they are sisters.

We have an extensive network of local and global retailers, trades people, and artisans. When possible we prefer to source sustainable and ethically produced products. We love to give items a new life whether it is refinishing, re-upholstering, or repurposing.
